Because of the many cutbacks in state and federal funds we are more than ever dependent on local donations to efficiently serve our community. We are asking individuals, businesses, organizations, and local governments, to help us help others by becoming involved in The Adell & Patricia Foundation Inc. by volunteering or making a donation to one of our programs or scholarship programs.
Together we can help ease the pain of poverty in our community.
The Adell & Patricia Foundation Inc currently distributes over 10000 lbs of food to over 3000 individuals and/or families each month.
We have free summer meal programs in Illinois and Georgia serving hundreds of youth breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday.

Our Family Matters participants can get food-filled relief boxes when in need, within 24 hours.
We believe in giving hand-up's and not hand-outs! Therefore we offer classes to help individuals and families shop and cook healthier on a budget. Our Cooking Matters Classes serve low-income families offer six-week Cooking Matters courses to adults, kids and families.

We focus on housing programs that provide long-term stability so families can stay together, individuals can find hope and children can sleep soundly.
The Adell Foundation is a member of the FDIC Money Smart Alliance and offers 6-week Financial literacy Classes as well as our American Dream Program that focuses on Credit , Savings, Home Ownership, and Foreclosure Prevention.
Pictured is one of our 2019 Scholarship winners Vision Powerhouse. Vision Powerhouse is a newly formed 501C3 nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women. In it's first year Vision Powerhouse has accomplished many things including winning this scholarship.

Apostle Dr. Elizabeth Amelia Hairston gave up a career in show business to become an Ambassador for Jesus Christ. God has anointed her rich talents and now uses them for His honor and glory. In Columbus, Ohio she directed and founded The Liturgical Expressions, Inc. This body of Holy Spirit-filled believers brought forth God’s Word through movement. Her circle of influence in dance and music includes world renowned Alvin Ailey and Marian Anderson.
She is a graduate of Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi where she received a Bachelors of Art Degree in English Literature, with a minor in Speech and Drama. Both a Master of Arts, and a Master of Fine Arts in Christian Education and Drama from The Methodist Theological School in Delaware Ohio. In addition, Apostle Hairston earned a Doctorate of Biblical Studies Degree from International Seminary, Plymouth, Florida. Elizabeth Hairston obtained from Friends International University a Doctorate of Divinity Degree and a Ph. D. from Friends International University in Merced, California. She is also an Adjunct Professor and Faculty member of Friends International. On August 22, 1987, Dr. Hairston was ordained for the Gospel Ministry, by the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa of Benin Nigeria, West Africa. Dr. Hairston was the first woman ordained in the office of Apostle under Christian International Network by Apostolic-Bishop Dr. Bill Hamon, in November of 1997.
