Diligence Awards February 18, 2022 in Chicago, IL
Each year, The Adell & Patricia Foundation celebrates its annual Community Service Awards Dinner. Due to the pandemic the Adell Foundation is celebrating nonprofits achievement in 2020-2021 on February 18, 2022. These are organizations that in spite of the pandemic they did not stop their mission and cause in 2020! They persevered and thrived while helping those that needed them the most! We salute them.
The Diligence Award was developed to honor persons who are making significant contributions to their community through their time, actions, talents and dedication (outside any volunteer work done for their employer). The honoree selected should serve as a role model for compassion, and service and be striving to make the world a better place.
He/ she should have a passion for helping others in his/her community. Persons being nominated for this award will have consistently demonstrated qualities of compassion, and service to either one organization or a variety of volunteer activities during this pandemic.
Nominees will be requested to email their bio, photo's of accomplishments, videos, and any testimonies from the communities they have impacted. The Adell & Patricia Board of directors will evaluate the submitted nominee forms and all information received.
The fruit of the Spirit is the fruit of God’s work in our lives when we are obedient to the Holy Spirit, not the fruit of our own strength, and produces “all joy and peace” (Romans 15:13), “all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering.” (Ephesians 4:2) “For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.” Ephesians 5:9. “… strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy …” Colossians 1:11. Such abundant fruit-bearing can only occur when we are strengthened with all might by the power of the Holy Spirit, and hence is referred to as the fruit of the Spirit.
The Diligence Awards are broken down into nine categories:
